Valentine's Hot Chocolate





- Valentine's Hot Chocolate -

Ingredients:

2 cups 2% Milk
Small pinch of Salt
Small splash of Vanilla
2 ounces Good Quality Milk Chocolate, finely chopped
1 ounce Good Quality Bittersweet Chocolate, finely chopped
1 ounce Good Quality Dark Chocolate, finely chopped
Splash of Raspberry Syrup, Hazelnut Syrup, or Orange Liqueur (optional)
6 Marshmallows

Directions:

In a medium saucepan, heat milk, salt, and vanilla together over a medium heat, stirring frequently till the milk starts to bubble (but not a full boil).  Remove pan from heat and add the chocolate. Whisk for a minute or so until the chocolate has melted.  Add the syrup or liqueur, if desired.  Pour into 2 mugs, add 3 marshmallows to each, and enjoy with your special someone!
