NYC Snapshots - Day 1

Recently my Mom and I had the wonderful opportunity at the invitation of a friend to stay in NYC for a couple nights. It was such a fun time. The first day we saw the Christmas sights at Rockefeller Center with the Christmas tree, ice skating rink, and the gorgeous St. Patrick's Cathedral across the street. It was completely packed wall-to-wall with people, and my mom and I had to hold hands in order to navigate the crowds and still stay together. It was a crazy, made worse by the holiday crowds, but we still enjoyed it.

Today I ate at one of my favorite places in New Hampshire! L.A. Burdick Chocolates has a delightful restaurant in Walpole, and I can never resist a bowl of their French onion soup, which smells divine and tastes heavenly! After a lunch of soup and pommes frites with my mom, we did a little chocolate shopping in the store before I sat down to a cup of their famous hot chocolate for dessert. It was the perfect afternoon!
