Day two on Nantucket was just as fun as the first! We rode our bicycles to Brant Point Lighthouse where we strolled on the beach, snapped photos, and even spotted a rabbit run down the road and past us! We had lunch at The Brotherhood of Thieves, which was some of the most amazing french onion soup. Then we popped around the shops again, and I even found a little something at the Peter Beaton Hat Shop, which is one of my favorite stores in town! We also found a large mirror, which my Mom has been looking for to go in the formal dining room for ages! It was a little awkward getting it back on the ferry, but we managed, and are very happy that we did! We grabbed some chocolates and ice cream before departing the island for home. It was a fun trip, and I can't wait till the next time I can go back!

My Mom and I recently went to Nantucket to spend a couple days for a short getaway. Day one consisted of shopping, walking, and bicycling around the historic town of Nantucket. We enjoyed a lunch at Arno's after the ferry, and I couldn't resist grabbing some fudge at the local fudge shop. I bought a children's book at Mitchell's Book Corner on Main Street for my nieces and nephews to enjoy, before heading to the Easy Riders Bike Shop, where we each rented adorable Schwinn bicycles with bike baskets and everything! We peddled all over the town, snapping photos and having a whale of a good time! It was very fun, and I felt a little more free with the bicycle, as I could stray farther and get around faster. We finished the day by grabbing hot chocolate at The Hub before retreating to our hotel, where we turned on the TV and went to sleep. It was an amazing first day!
